Hier kun je discussieren over Wat kun je doen om recht op abortus in USA te verdedigen? .
Een enorme klap, die eraan zat te komen. Het hooggerechtshof in de USA zal Roe versus Wade, het anker van het recht op abortus in de States, omverwerpen. Met dank aan de seksisten Bush en Trump, die daar wat patriarchale figuren hebben neergeplant.
Er is een mogelijkheid voor Joe Biden in samenwerking met het Congres, om recht op abortus uit te roepen tot:"Law of the Land." Waarmee je, onafhankelijk v uitspraak vh hooggerechtshof, het recht op abortus veilig stelt. Belangrijk is het dus nu, dat Joe Biden en senatoren signale krijgen dat vrouwen, ook buiten de USA, oproepen om dit te doen. Kijk even op mijn twitteraccount @KrijtjevdStoep , daar staat een petitie als vastgemaakte tweet. Teken die. Kleine moeite, solidair gebaar. Kijk even op het twitteraccount van @BureauClaraWichmann. Daar staat een oproep voor de demonstratie in Amsterdam 7 mei. En een pdf van hun brief aan het Supreme Court USA tegen het voornemen om recht op abortus af te schaffen.
Ik heb gisteren een bericht gestuurd naar een senator die zegt pro-choice te zijn, maar die om een belachelijke reden niet tegen het Supreme Court in wil gaan. Dat zou niet fair zijn tegenover de anti abortus hulpverleners. Nou, we weten hoe eerlijk DIE zijn. Ik heb er nog nooit een zien uitademen zonder te liegen.
Dus ik stuurde dit bericht naar betreffende senator Susan Collins. Dear Senator Collins,
I understand that untill now you don't want to make Abortionright Law of the Land in USA. You say that that would not be fair to anti-choice health providers. But how fair are anti-choice health providers? They try to push women who are struggling with the decision to have an echo. They are usually not open about the fact that they ARE anti-choice. Pretending to be neutral, they try to change the mind of women in a vulnarable position. So, i would not worry to much about them.
As a 61 yo, living in the Netherlands, i know how hard it is for many women around the world to get safe contraceptives and free safe abortions. So i was alarmed to hear that US SUPREME COURT wants to overrule RoevWade. It is very important that you work with Congress now to make Abortionright Law of the Land. Because if Roe falls millions of women in 24 states may face ridiculous time limits for abortion. Scientists agree that the foetus can not feel anything before week 26,when the connection is made between brain&spine. So to sacrifice women's life planning, selfdetermination, their carreers, their psycho-social life, studies for a false claim:what christian fundamentalists call:the rights of the child, does in no way make sense. Reproductive rights are protected under international human rights law. USA doesn't want to go decades back in time and be a bad example for the world:than please act now:Abortionright Law of the Land.

Kortom, hoe je ook in het leven staat:vind je zelfbeschikkingsrecht v vrouwen cruciaal:laat dan van je horen aan wie dan ook maar invloed kan uitoefenen. Hier moet een ramp voorkomen worden.
