*It's a Prison*
Hier kun je discussieren over *It's a Prison*.
From a few weeks ago, a group of undercover cops have been created a social cage for me; my home, work and in general personal/social life are under watch by undercover cops.
Due to my political decision to leave the political movement, I intended to not publish a political statement, but the continuation of these state's controls on me, haven't left another choice.
Comrades should know that I am not allowed to leave a specific geographical area designated by the state, and that I have to physically report myself to authority every two weeks. Despite to these hard state repression measures, I don't understand why the state need to put undercover cops on my life. The circle of state control on my life is getting more and more tiny everyday, and today when I look at the spaces in my freedom of movement, there is no space left and I am in a prison. In addition in past a few months, even when there weren't undercover cops, I was getting stopped for no reason and getting searched by cops. In one of these events almost 4 months ago, after being stopped by cops in Wageningen, even the cops threatened me that *I have to apologize to them (for no reason), otherwise they will beat me immediately and arrest me*, in fact they just wanted to humiliate me. When such event happened, it seems the problem between me and the authority is more than a political issue, and they have personal hate about me. Comrades, I am tired of this situation, particularly when it seems as a person I am alone in such a conflict.
Today when I look at myself, I am just paying back for the things that happened in the past, I am paying back for what the state called it terrorism but I call it revolutionary activities; and I am paying back for the mistakes of an 19-20 or 21 years old person who had no idea how to behave right in his different connections with other members of the movement. And it seems I am going to payback for both, forever. I do not believe that this statement change anything, but it was politically important for me to speak up. And I decided to keep it as short as possible.

A europe wide solidarity campaign or whatever you are still dreaming about wont happen. Solidarity has to be build and you weren't helpful in the process, you threatened, lied to and abused comrades and a lot of them will never forgive you or will need a lot more time.

Being a total pain in the ass and majorly fucking things up is still not a reason to just look the other way when presented with clear political repression against anarchists. The AIVD doesn't care about the shit he did, they're just in it for anti-anarchist repression. Sure, he ruined things spectacularly, but this situation doesn't sit right with me either.

While it's impossible to tell, these over-the-top cheerleading comments look more to me like cops trying to screw up any sort of discussion and getting people up against Abtin (by exactly the sort of reaction you're having) than actually Abtin himself commenting on his own post. For one, the specific spelling errors don't fit his other writing. Of course, for all I know I'm wrong, and it really is him. But since it's impossible to tell, I think it's best to just ignore these comments and not base any decisions (partly) on them.

I know him well, he is very smart, I do not think he can be stupid enough to do that.

What is your definition of 'revolutionary' ? A narcissist who likes making everything about themselves and engage in radical left ideas with a god complex and moral superiority to build themselves a reputation? Then they are indeed the most revolutionary anarchist I have encountered in a very long time. And I think I have met my fair share of anarchists from very different backgrounds. Still they are at the top on that sense.

I'm merely pointing out that AIVD doesn't care about the shit he did, all they see is an anarchist who got isolated from the movement (for whatever reason that may be) and having a field day on him. As much as some may think he deserves getting shit for the shit he did himself, and maybe he does, this isn't it - this is simply political repression, nothing more and nothing less. It's effectively sending the message "Remain in the good graces of the movement or we'll let AIVD have a field day on you." It's possible to be against the shit he did and reject the state repression being handed out on him.

Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this, that’s one thing. My feelings of solidarity is with everyone who experiences state repression. However, please just once don’t use your usual petty ways to manipulate people for finding a way back. These are two different things, however as long as you are not sincere and try to make everything a one-person show (such as posting big statements or comments to yourself pointing fingers to people as if YOU WERE NOT the one to abuse people, fake humility and accountability while trying to manipulate people to absolve yourself from the situation more than a couple instances), people see through that. You might be smart but others are not stupid as well.
My personal observation and what I have seen so far from this person that they are beyond the point of being allowed back to the community. They are manipulative and self-obsessed and no this is not just an observation from what they post here and there, but also in real life. And if the community, with the current limited resources, lets this person in, in expense of those who are traumatized by his existence, a lot more will be lost and dealing with narcissistic abusers require too much resources, believe me.
