Destruction of the jungle accelerates, apparently the CRS set on fire deliberately shelters, shops and restaurants , a Mosque burned, and the fire brigade 'exercised their right to pull out' because deemed too dangerous. French and international volunteers were allowed to leave, refugees were not.

The North side of the camp that is not yet under eviction is fully packed with people. There are 200 families in a new family camp sleeping in caravans, many young children, no water nearby. The unaccompanied minors are 470 to 500 in all, according to associations who did a count, there were 300 in the South zone, mainly Afghans some very young, 10, 11, 13, 15... now they are moving in the North side after their shelters were destroyed.
At least 14 new jungles have popped up in or around Calais according to Care4Calais, where people have no water nor the bare essentials. Pls keep sending humanitarian aid, especially sleeping bags, rucksacks, food, water containers, small but sturdy tents, warm clothes, gas bottles and wood for burning. This morning there was thick frost on the ground. Very cold at night!
Also needed money to buy credit for phones, so people can keep in touch with friends and supporters when displaced.

Please come to Calais or organize supporting actions in your area. There have so far been supporting actions in Paris, London, Dublin, Nantes, Brussels and other cities.
