De doodstraf van Mumia Abu-Jamal is onlangs omgezet in levenslang, maar om Mumia vrij te krijgen moet er nog actie gevoerd worden. Daarom houdt Molli op vrijdag 16 maart een informatie en benefietavond voor Mumia.
Met om 20.00 soep en om 21.00 de film Justice on Trial over Mumia
Sinds zijn gevangenschap zijn er wereldwijd protesten en campagnes gehouden voor zijn vrijlating. Mumia vraagt een nieuw en eerlijk proces (en daarmee vrijheid) en wordt daarin gesteund door o.a. Amnesty International, Nelson Mandele, Desmond Tutu, het Europees Parlement en vele anderen.

Er staat nu dat hij in 1982 ter dood veroordeeld werd voor de moord op een politieman.
Daar dat nooit bewezen is, kun je hooguit zeggen dat hij daar van verdacht werd, is.
Was het dan geen over-duidelijke racistische veroordeling?......

Please excuse me for not writing in dutch - I simply cannot but would like to say something to my co-commentators. Just one thing: anyone who is seriously linking the Danial Faulkner website (as someone did above my comment) should be aware about the authors of this website: the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).
They don't care about Daniel Faulkner or anyone particular - they are nothing but a biggot and very right winged police organisation who want Mumia killed because so many People of Color and progressives from all over the world want him to be freed. They are a political power structure behind elected judges, district attourneys and the ruling party (with its two right wings: Democrats and Republicans).
The FOP spread false information on Mumia's case for many years. If you want literature and detailled analysis of Mumia's trial I recommend two (US) publications:
