Tahl Kaminer teaches design and theory at the Urban Asymmetries MSc program of the DSD, and carries out research of the relation of architecture to society. He completed his PhD under the supervision of Professor Arie Graafland in 2008, received his MSc Architecture Theory and History from the Bartlett in 2003, and an architectural diploma [B. Arch] in 1998. In 2004 Dr Kaminer co-founded the non-profit 66 East, which ran group exhibitions, presentations, lectures and screenings in East Amsterdam, 2004-7. He is a co-founder of the academic journal Footprint, and edited two of its issues. Routledge recently published his doctoral dissertation as Architecture, Crisis and Resuscitation: The Reproduction of Post-Fordism in Late-Twentieth-Century Architecture.
