Antifa Cafe; Refugees

In this edition of Antifa Café the topic will be: Refugees. Since the human rights violating EU-Turkey deal you don’t hear much about refugees anymore on national television. However this doesn’t mean that the situation of refugees is solved, far from it. So definitely worth talking about it in our next Antifa café, which is again organized together with Book-Café The Barricadee and Taste Before You Waste - Utrecht
There are going to be a couple of talks, highlighting different aspects. One of the talks will focus on the relation between refugees and the weapon industry. As usual, vegan dinner will be served by Taste Before You Waste at 19:00 and we will screen a movie together with Pasthéi. This time we will screen two short documentaries; Refuge: A Human Story (2016) and Vergeet mij niet (Forget Me Not, 2016). Both show different
sides of the refugee story.
We hope you will join us! Of course we would love it if you could be there for the whole day, but if you only want to follow a certain talk, have dinner or just see the movies you are still more than welcome to stop by! We will post the schedule as soon as everything is finalized and confirmed.
