GroenFront! Groningen organiseert van 6 t/m 10 mei in Groningen een zomerse gathering in Leermens met op 9 mei om 13.00 een actie bij de NAM gaslocatie aan de Waddenzee bij Bierum (Uiteinderweg). De rest van de week zijn er workshops, activiteiten, gezelligheid en discussie rondom gaswinning en klimaatstrijd, actietraining. De avonduren vullen we met de geur van kampvuurtjes en vrolijke muziek. Een dagje langskomen kan natuurlijk ook, overnachten is niet noodzakelijk.

Locatie: Leermens
Vrijwillige donatie: 5,- per dag voor de onkosten, plus een donatie voor het eten.
Voorlopig programma.
Woensdag:
Inloop vanaf 16:00 en cultureel/informatief avondprogramma.
Donderdag:
Workshops over klimaat, de Climate Games, je eigen huis gasvrij maken, Transition Towns en actietraining en cultureel/informatief avondprogramma met live muziek.
Vrijdag:
Workshops over media, aardgas en klimaat, duurzaam activisme, gebruik van lock-ons, je rechten als activist, inlichtingendiensten en activisme met aansluitend een cultureel/informatief avondprogramma met live muziek.
Zaterdag:
Tegengas actie bij NAM locatie Bierum (Uiteinderweg) aan de Waddenzee van 13.00 -15.00
Zondag:
Rustig wakker worden, zondags ontbijtje, spulletjes pakken en op huis aan.
Vrijwilligers.
Het kamp wordt georganiseerd door vrijwilligers en sympathisanten. Dit betekend dat we vaak juist ook nog alle extra handjes goed kunnen gebruiken. Tijdens het kamp zal er bijvoorbeeld ook een afwas gedaan moeten worden en dergelijken.
Kamperen.
Wil je blijven kamperen, leuk! Meld je dan wel aan via de email: actieweek[at]groenfront[dot]nl. We willen graag dat iedere overnachter straks zijn tentje op kan zetten, en aanmeldingen helpen ons om een goede inschatting te maken van het te verwachten aantal deelnemers, dit ivm een beperkt aantal slaapplekken.
En omdat een gathering organiseren nogal wat energie kost, zijn wij altijd blij met helpende handen. Wil je een bijdrage leveren, of heb je ons iets aan te bieden, graag! We survived the winter and will happily welcome the coming summer with a gathering in the North of the Netherlands. Pick up your tent from the storage, undust your sleepingmat and find back your sleepingback! From the 6th to the 10th of May GroenFront! organizes a gathering, where you can enjoy a program offering pro-active workshops like climbing, discussion themes about gasproduction in the Netherlands, eco-activism and the global struggle over a healthy earth, looking back on almost 20 years of GroenFront!, an expedition into the province Groningen and evenings filled with the smell of campfires and lovely music. Joining in fjust for during a/the day is also completely possible.
Location: Leermens
Voluntary donation: 5,- a day for the costs we make, plus a donation for the food.
Program.
Wednesday:
Welcome from 16:00 with in the evening a cultural/informative programming
Thursday:
Workshops, about the climate games, transition towns, how to get rid of gas in your house, and our friends from AusgeCO2hlt will present a Skills for Action training and many more. In the evening we will have a cultural/informative eveningschedule with live music.
Friday:
lock-ons and the use of it, media, natural gas and climate change, the law and activism, dealing with police spies, sustainable activism and a cultural/informative eveningprogram with live music.
Saturday:
Banner protest at the gaswells near Bierum, 13.00
Sunday:
Slowly waking up, have a good breakfast, pick up your stuff and getting back home.
Volunteers.
The gathering itself is organized by volunteers and people who support it. This means we can use every extra helping hand when possible. During the camp there are several different jobs to be done. Like dishwashing and playing the bartender.
Camping.
Do you want to stay over with your tent, cool! Please do send us an email at: actieweek[at]groenfront[dot]nl. We want to offer everyone a place with her/his tent, and for that, we need to know how many people will approximately join. Also because of the fact we have a limited amount of places for tents.
Organizing an actionweek takes a lot of time and energy, this is why we are always very happy with a helping hand. Also we will be very happy with all sorts of donations, like paint, bedsheets and old wood for the campfire or to build with.
