Voor alle mensen die zijn opgepakt bij de ontruiming van het tentenkamp in Den Haag en die een zogenaamde 'strafbeschikking' hebben meegekregen: Het is heel belangrijk dat je daar binnen 14 dagen mee naar de Centrale Balie gaat van het paleis van Justitie in Den Haag. Daar moet je 'verzet instellen bij het OM'. Dit moet je PERSOONLIJK doen, met je ID-bewijs bij de hand en de strafbeschikking. Als je dit gedaan hebt moet de strafrechter de strafzaak in zijn geheel opnieuw beoordelen.
Je krijgt een afgifte/kopie als je dit gedaan hebt. Deze wil de arrestantengroep dan graag hebben om aan de advocaat te geven. Dus maak een scan van je strafbeschikking, een scan van je 'akte van verzet' én een scan van je ID-bewijs. Stuur deze 3 scans naar denhaag@arrestantensteungroep.org. Dan zorgen wij ervoor dat het bij de advocaat terechtkomt.
Dit is de enige manier om nog iets aan deze strafbeschikking te doen, dus doe het op tijd!!

This is important information for anyone who has been arrested at the eviction of the encampment in The Hague and who's got a 'Strafbeschikking' from the district attorney (You will know if you have a 'Strafbeschikking' by looking at the right corner of the paper that they gave you).
You have only 14 days to do anything about this. You can resist this 'strafbeschikking' by taking it with you to the courthouse in The Hague. (Directions: http://www.rechtspraak.nl/Organisatie/Rechtbanken/Den-Haag/Contact/Pages... )
In the courthouse, go to the Centrale Balie and tell them to install resistance against the 'strafbeschikking'. If you did this, you will get some document that will say that you have resisted (this is called 'akte van verzet' in dutch). You have to do this PERSONALLY. Bring your strafbeschikking and also your identification.
Please make a scan of your ID, Strafbeschikking and Akte van verzet and send it to the legal support team. We will take it to the lawyer who will fight against this strafbeschikking.

This is the only way to do anything against this 'strafbeschikking' so please be in time!!

Voor de mensen die nog geen akte van verzet tegen hun strafbeschikking hebben ingesteld: De Centrale Balie bij de rechtbank in Den Haag is komende week alleen Donderdag en Vrijdag nog open van 8:30-17:00! Maandag, Dinsdag en Woensdag zijn ze gesloten.
Daarna ben je dus te laat en kun je geen bezwaar meer maken tegen de boete van 250 euro en de strafbeschikking. De Rechtbank zit op Prins Clausplein in Den Haag. Lees hier verder hoe je bezwaar kunt maken: https://www.indymedia.nl/node/11475
Je kunt ook schriftelijk nog bezwaar maken, maar dan krijg je geen bewijs mee dat je dat gedaan hebt. Stuur je kopie van de strafbeschikking VANDAAG (vanwege de kerstdrukte) nog naar:

En zeg dat je verzet wilt instellen. Heel droog kan dit door te schrijven: 'Ik ben het niet eens met deze strafbeschikking, en wil hierbij verzet instellen, zodat ik bij de zitting toe kan lichten waarom ik het hier niet mee eens ben.'

Please note that if you still haven't installed resistance against your strafbeschikking, you have very limited time to still do so!
The courthouse in The hague will be closed next Mon-Tues- and Wednesday. So Thursday and Friday are the only days you've still got a chance to go to the courthouse and resist. The opening hours are 8:30 til 17:00.

There's a way to do this in writing to, but it hasn't got the same advantages as doing it in person, according to the lawyer who's working on the cases. Also you won't get a 'proof' of having resisted the strafbeschikking.
But if you do want to do it in writing: do it soon!!
Because of the christmas mail at the post company, it'll take longer maybe to have your letter received by the courthouse..
