Last year we had many plans and many folks helping us to put those plans into action... and then COVID.
So now\, with a year of online events\, smaller working groups and actions\, and even farming activities\, we feel ready to start up our good old format of open campaign meetings to collectively make some plans for the coming spring and summer!
The meeting will consist of some updates about what has been going on with ASEED this year\, introductions of the currently running working groups\, time to get to know one another\, and space for people to bring in ideas that they have for the campaign.
We as Vrije Bond Utrecht stand in solidarity with Greek comrade Dmitris Koufodinas who is a victim of a vendetta campaign by the Mitsakis family under the guise of the Greek Justice System. We support his wishes to stay in his old prison\, and have respect for his dedication to his hunger strike. We also want to voice protest against the corrupt oligarchy that de facto rules Greece\, and that they stop meddling in the convictions of these political prisoners.

De afgelopen maanden was er vanwege de lockdown in Amsterdam opvang voor iedereen\, echter volgens de laatste berichtgeving zal de noodopvang per 1 mei ten einde komen\, en\, vanaf 1 april zullen er geen nieuwe mensen meer toegelaten worden. Dit is een ramp.
Het Amsterdamse stadsbestuur van GroenLinks\, D66\, PvdA en SP weigert om zelf voor noodopvang te betalen\, als gevolg daarvan staan vanaf 1 mei ongeveer 400 mensen op straat. Kwetsbare dak- en thuisloze mensen waaronder jonge ‘niet rechthebbende’ meiden en mensen met psychische problemen.
