the so-called Two-state solution has long been the dominant paradigm. Although the implausibility of this strategy is by now generally accepted (usually phrased as being “on the brink of collapse”), official bodies such as the UN, the EU and most of their member states still pay lip service to the idea, without a feasible vision for its implementation. Meanwhile, the United States’ government has launched a new plan called the “Deal of the Century”, which essentially paves the way for Israel to annex much of the Occupied Palestinian Territory. | ||
