In november toert de bijzondere animatiefilm Tehran Taboo door het land als onderdeel van Movies that Matter On Tour. In dit regiedebuut uit de Duits-Iraanse regisseur Ali Soozandeh felle kritiek op zijn thuisland Iran. Hij kon zijn film dan ook niet in Teheran maken. Om toch zo goed mogelijk de stad en het leven daar in beeld te brengen\, gebruikt hij animaties en de rotoscooptechniek\, waarbij scenes met acteurs worden opgenomen die daarna worden overgetekend. In de film doorkruisen de levens van drie vrouwen en een jonge man elkaar in de schizofrene samenleving van de Iraanse hoofdstad.
