Thanks a lot to all those who came last Sunday to the first FFA Open Campaign Meeting. We are having our Second Open Campaign Meeting the coming Thursday 28 of June at 19.30 at NieuwLand. There's going to be vegan dinner from 18:30 until 19:30 and meeting from 19:30 to 21:00. In 2015 students and staff occupied the Maagdenhuis for 46 days under the banner of the New University movement. Sadly their dream of an alternative to the neoliberal university was shut down. Negotiations and meetings were held, promises made, guarantees given. And yet here we are again, because not enough has changed. The movement is back, with Humanities Rally, NU!, University of Colour, ASVA Student Union, and UvA staff uniting in protest. | ||
