In het kader van een 2-delige themaserie over de Duits-Joodse filosofe Hannah Arendt (1906-19750) een eerste avond waarop de film 'Hannah Arendt' wordt vertoond. De film dateert uit 2012\, is geregisseerd door Margaretha van Trotta en de hoofdrol wordt vertolkt door Barbara Sukowa.
De Duits-Joodse filosofe Hannah Arendt (1906-1975) verliet Duitsland in 1933. Ze nam de wijk naar Frankrijk\, dat ze uiteindelijk in 1941 ook moest verlaten. Ze vestigde zich in New York en pas daar ontwikkelde ze haar later zo beroemd geworden gedachtegoed .

On Sunday February 15th there will be demonstrations all over Greece and Europe since on that day crucial negotiations between the Greek government and the Eurogroup will take place. These demonstrations will send the message to the European leaders that the people of Europe will be also present during these negotiations. Our demands for the end of austerity and the abolition of the memoranda (the so-called austerity programmes) should be the starting point for any new agreements.
