Elke eerste zondag van de maand organiseert Occupy een ondersteunende actie voor de opgesloten vluchtelingen in het detentiecentrum van Rotterdam aan de Portelabaan 7 op Vliegveld Zestienhoven/Airport The Hague-Rotterdam.
Dit doet OccupyRotterdam sinds begin 2012. Inmiddels hebben wij al ruim 100 van deze acties gedaan.

Mensen wiens thuis onbewoonbaar is geworden door de wapens\, de oorlogen\, de exploitatie\, de ontginning en het kapitalisme van datzelfde westen.
Geografische factoren\, tezamen met militaire operaties en materialen\, worden ingezet om het moeilijker te maken de grenzen te bereiken en over te steken. De wegen naar een verwacht beter leven worden daardoor steeds gevaarlijker. De wateren rond Europa en Australië eisen dagelijks mensenlevens\, zoals inmiddels iedereen weet.
Keer op keer moeten vrijplaatsen en autonome ruimtes wijken voor yuppenprojecten. Zo werd dit jaar nog de Valreep in Amsterdam ontruimd om plaats te maken voor een luxe Grand Café\, en nu wil de gemeente Den Haag vrijplaats De Vloek ontruimen en slopen omdat er een zeilcentrum moet komen. Overal moeten mooie initiatieven die van onderop zijn ontstaan wijken voor yuppenprojecten. Maar het moet niet gaan om de belangen van projectontwikkelaars\, maar om de mensen. Daarom organiseren wij van 26 t/m 28 december drie dagen vol van demonstraties en acties.
