De werkgroep MAMA is vorig jaar spontaan ontstaan tijdens het organiseren van de March Against Monsanto demonstratie op de Dam in Amsterdam. Inmiddels is onze werkgroep uitgegroeid tot MAMAmsterdam eet wat je weet\, een platform voor bewustzijn over gentech landbouw en de positieve alternatieven daarvoor. Dit jaar organiseren we op de internationale March Against Monsanto dag een festival op de Dam!

News like the ridicule idea that inmates are going to have to pay to be incarcerated\, but also a call for heavier punishments in general. The prison system is undergoing a process of far reaching privatization. The state intents to make the prisons financially self-sufficient. By outsourcing the building and exploitation to private companies even more parties and people will make profit from locking up people.

Er wordt komende dagen elke dag eten verzorgd en we kunnen jullie hulp goed gebruiken bij de verhuizing. Waar gaan we heen? Dat blijft nog even geheim tot na de ontruiming. Het wordt in ieder geval super gezellig!

Het Openbaar Ministerie bestempelde die teksten als opruiend\, de rechtbank volgde het OM hierin. Op 28 mei zal blijken of de veroordeling door het gerechtshof wordt bevestigd\, en zo ja\, welke straf wordt opgelegd. Het OM eiste zes maanden gevangenisstraf\, net als in de eerste ronde.

Een gezellige uitstapje voor de hele familie waarbij het leuke met het nuttige gecombineerd zal worden\: naast ruimschootse gelegenheid om de pittoreske steenkool-infrastructuur van de Amsterdamse haven op de gevoelige plaat vast te leggen is dit de ideale gelegenheid om met je team het gebied te leren kennen en jullie spelstrategie te optimaliseren.

Police violence included pepper spray to the eyes\, tear gas\, dogs (several bite wounds) kicking and beating. After the protesters cleared the entrance they were encircled by the police and ten specific people were picked out of the protest and arrested. Charges still unknown.

On Tuesday June 10th 2014 we will be organizing a demonstration on Dam Square against the human rights violations and corruption behind the FIFA World Cup. Our objective is to stand in solidarity with Brazilians and spread awareness of the unfair game being played behind the game of football that we love.

Toelichting\:
De Vluchtelingen in de opvang 'Vluchthaven' (de oude bajes aan de Havenstraat) moesten er de 1e juni uit. Zowel Van Der Laan als Teeven beschouwen de pilot als mislukt en geven de vluchtelingen de schuld omdat zij 'niet meewerken aan terugkeer'.
De vluchtelingen hebben geweigerd te vertrekken.
Van Der Laan heeft een proces tegen 114 van hen aangespannen met de eis dat het daags na de uitspraak leeg\, bezemschoon\, wordt opgeleverd. Hierna moet het EEN JAAR LEEGSTAAN! Van der Laan wil ook de kosten van ontruiming op de vluchtelingen verhalen.
