In solidarity with the wave hunger strikes in Greek prisons, we are going to write to the person who is the inspiration and reason for this.
Spyros Stratoulis was incarcerated at the age of 17 and has spent the past 22 years in prison. From there he has faught the prison system with numerous hunger strikes, solidarity documents, abstentions from food, prison riots etc.

Op 21 december 2013 vind er weer een grote kerstdemonstratie plaats voor alle Vluchtelingenkinderen van Nederland bij het uitzetcentrum in Ter Apel.
Gelieve snoep en speelgoed mee te nemen t/m de leeftijd van 12 jaar, en kom mee demonstreren !
Aanvang van de demonstratie 14.30 uur.
Er zal tevens vervoer worden georganiseerd vanuit Leeuwarden , Groningen , Emmen en Utrecht.
Komt dus allen en doe mee !
Woedend over de hogere kans op straffen en hogere straffen voor etnische minderheden.
Woedend over de cultuur van straffeloosheid.
Woedend over geïnstitutionaliseerd racisme.
Wij vinden dat wij in verzet moeten komen tegen al deze dingen, en dat verantwoordelijken aansprakelijk moeten worden gesteld bij racisme, buitensporig geweld, en moord door de politie.

Wij eisen het ontslag van Paul Musscher, de politiechef van de eenheid Den Haag Nationale Politie. Dezelfde politiechef die heeft gezegd te gaan kijken hoe de agent die Rishi vermoorde, na de jaarwisseling, 'zijn normale werkzaamheden kan hervatten'.
We gaan een jaar in met nieuwe activiteiten en nieuwe initiatieven. De eerste maanden van de molli staan in het teken van theaterstraat. We zullen op verschillende manieren geld gaan inzamelen om theaterstraat te helpen. Zo zullen onder andere de opbrengsten van de frietvoku naar theaterstraat gaan, zal er een veiling van oude zines en posters gehouden worden en een karaoke avond worden georganiseerd.

Is hier door het bestuur nog actie ondernomen om de weer zelf te gaan beheren !
Zo niet,kan hij dan alsnog verwijderd worden.
Willen mensen in Amsterdam (en andere steden) de poster (bijlage) uitprinten en in hun plek ophangen? Zou tof zijn!

Infoavond Blockupy 2014 op 13 januari Amsterdam: Op een grote internationale conferentie in Frankfurt, met ruim 450 deelnemers, is afgelopen november besloten dat de opening van de nieuwe vestiging van de Europese Centrale Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt in het najaar van 2014 massaal geblokkeerd zal worden. Een brede coalitie van actiegroepen en organisaties wil de feestelijke opening van de ECB grondig gaan verstoren uit protest tegen onder andere het Europese bezuinigingsbeleid en het huidige migratiebeleid. Perhaps you've read in the newspaper that the squatted apartments at the Boelesteinlaan will soon be evicted. These places were squatted about a year ago to highlight the fact that Mitros is not doing their job even according to their own statutes and to protest the lack of affordable housing in utrecht.
In 2010 there was a fire in one of the apartments. Instead of cleaning the little bit of soot from the hallway Mitros evicted the remaining houses and shortly afterwards cut off the basic services to prevent anyone from living in the building.
Since the end of 2012, a large group of undocumented migrants and asylum seekers started a protest aimed at challenging current migration policies, criminalisation, militarisation of borders, and deportation procedures. In the few months the size of the group grew to 220, and despite the attempts by politicians to divide and disperse them, they started squatting buildings in order to stay together, become visible, and organise their political actions.
“When you enter the University, leave your politics at the door”. This is not an uncommon expression to welcome new students starting their academic careers. Scientists are to be objective, neutral and dispassionate, only then can you be a part of the enriching process of knowledge production. The truth about society has to be encountered with a “distant gaze” which assumes that politics can be seperated from science. But what about another frequently heard expression: “Knowledge is power”. If this is true, how can politics be kept out of science? Is that even feasable or desirable?

Hoe verschillende actieve vormen samen kunnen werken en van elkaar kunnen leren. Er zal een paneldebat gevoerd worden met mensen binnen en buiten het domein dat activistisch genoemd wordt, onder de noemer:
"Wie durft verandering mee aan te gaan"
